Giving Day 2022 – Wednesday, Nov. 2 – ALL DAY
By donating to the Fisheries Opportunity Fund, you’re supporting research and professional development for students creating sustainable fisheries and healthy aquatic ecosystems. Gifts will go towards field and lab supplies, technical training courses, and travel costs for fieldwork or professional conferences for student researchers.
Last year’s Giving Day donations helped send our very first Fisheries Opportunity Fund Fellow, Niza Contreras, to Baja California Sur, where she created a solution to climate related issues in local fisheries. This year’s gifts will go towards supporting other innovative student projects.
Together, we can increase sustainability and diversity in fisheries science and management.
Thank you for your support,
